I spent a fabulous day with Julia at one of her day retreats last Sunday (16 March 25). I have a very busy working life here and never have time to just relax! I went with a friend and on arrival met a lovely French lady, so there were three of us. From the minute we arrived, Julia made us feel very welcome and explained what we would be doing throughout the day. I was very impressed with Julias knowledge of Yoga Nidra and how important it was to practice to help restore and rebalance ourselves. By the end of the afternoon session I drifted off into the most relaxed and wonderful sleep I had had for a long time! I left feeling fabulous :-) The whole day, experience, and lovely lunch was fab and I will definitely be booking another session very soon.
I spent last Sunday with Julia at her Slow Down Yoga Day Retreat, and I can honestly say it was perfect. Julia is very knoweldgeable, professional and a great yoga teacher. It was a lovely day spent learning to unwind and relax both body and maybe more importantly my mind. I shall without doubt be booking to go again and thoroughly recommend it.

I stayed at the Brittany Yoga Retreat last weekend for 1 night. The whole experience was fantastic. Set in a lovely village in central Brittany, the whole experience was very friendly and personalized and professional. Julia took us through 3 different types of yoga, yang, yin and restorative. We also spent time walking in the beautiful countryside, meditating and journalling. The home cooked food was tasty and superb quality. This retreat is a must for anyone needing a recharge and slow down. I left feeling refreshed and recharged.

Day retreat maxium 3 Places
Moving the body slowly & deliberately into different Yoga poses, by gently stretching all parts of the body, building flexibility, mobility, strength & balance, becoming one with your body and breath.
A slow meditative form of Yoga emphasizing holding the postures longer working within the deeper muscle structures & going within through stillness to learn how to listen to the sensations of the body & how it is feeling.
It emphasizes mindful rest and stillness, using props such as blankets, bolsters allowing the body to be fully supported to completely relax, helping restore deep peace, balance, and healing.
Known as Yogic sleep, it is a deeply restorative, nourishing meditative state, normally practiced lying down, a 40 Minute Nidra session can be as good as 3 hours deep sleep having a positive impact on your mental health.
Helping you to relax the mind, lower stress levels, improve concentration and help induce physical relaxation.
Helping to improve breathing efficiency and health by lowering blood pressure and improving your immune system, a reduction in the releasing of stress hormones, but most of all improving your overall state of wellbeing.

Melrand is part of the green valley of Blavet surrounded by the river of the same name. This river forms the eastern border of the commune & the Sarre river, a tributary of the Blavet river that flows through Melrand allowing beautiful riverside walks.
